The “Baby Oil” crooner has been locked up behind bars for the past month after returning to Nigeria. According to reports, Speed Darlington made derogatory and defamatory statements about Burna Boy in Most of his live sessions on Instagram.

Initially, the issue between Speed Darlington and Burna Boy began after he accused Burna Boy of attending Sean’s Diddy private event after the American socialite was accused of sexual assault on the attendees at his event.
Speed Darlington made several videos asking how Burna Boy got his Grammy Award if not for the help of Sean Diddy, he claimed that Diddy had used so much baby oil on the singer before he was able to help him win his Grammy award.
His feud with Burna Boy took a dramatic turn as the Speed Darlington was arrested and detained for some time and later on, he was released on bail.
After his release, Speed Darlington travelled to the US and continued defaming the singer after several warnings melted to him by the security agencies

The day “Speed Darlington was arrested by the police, the Report has it that nobody knew it was an order from his colleague, Burna Boy who wrote a petition against him for defaming and making derogatory statements about him on social media.
According to reports, He was arrested on the basis of defaming his colleague Burna Boy without having concrete evidence about the said claim, while trying to damage the reputation of the singer.

The Role of Singer Burna Boy in the arrest was made known by Speed Darlington Lawyer in person of Barrister Deji Adeyanju. The legal practitioner had expressed his displeasure as to why one would lock up his colleague for defaming him with the help of the police.
Barrister Deji Adeyanju noted that it is not the right thing to do, he opined that they should have taken him to court rather than detaining him without any court order.
Recall that he was the one who stood up for Speed Darlington during his first arrest, before he was finally arrested the second time after returning to Nigeria.
