Wizkid announces his sixth studio album, dedicates it to his late mother (VIDEO)

Grammy Award-winning Nigerian Singer, Ibrahim Ayodeji Balogun known as Wizkid has dedicated his forthcoming sixth studio album to his late mother, Mrs Jane Balogun.

The ‘Ojuelegba’ crooner made the announcement in a video message shared on his social media platform on Saturday, 1^st of June 2024.

He revealed that the album titled ‘Morayo’ will be dedicated to his later mother and will be released very soon.

Wizkid while stepping out of a private jet said, ‘’My Album ‘Morayo’, dedicated to my mum, the love of my life, drops very son. Don’t dull. Don’t sleep.’’

Recall that, Wizkid’s mother, Mrs Jane Balogun passed away on August 18, 2023, in  London after she was buried in Nigeria; a dark moment for the singer and his family.

Wizkid expressed the pain of losing his mother while noting that it hurts him deeply. He added; ‘’The Pain is profound’’.
