Up and coming Nigerian singer, Chidozie Godsfavour Ugochinyere, known professionally as Fave has expressed his disappointments after Davido performed their song “Kante” and removed her verse during his New Year’s performance at Greater Lagos Festival.

Taking to her X platform formerly Twitter, Fave revealed that she and Davido had been at the event together.
According to the post she made, she said that she had hugged the singer backstage before he began his New Year performance.
Fave noted that it would have been a very good opportunity for her in this new year if they had performed the song together on stage, but she supposes life sometimes happens.
She tweeted;
“Begun my new years with such a huge gag lol hugging Davido backstage as he’s about to perform, to watching him perform Kante in a new version with my verse taken off. Performing with you would have been a good way to start my year but I guess life happens.
