A NEPA officer who was sent to disconnect the light of a particular area has been pushed off the ladder by angry Nigerians who have experienced shortage of electricity over the month.
This comes after Nigerian citizens, both rich and poor, have been going through a lot from the NEPA electricity company over the shortage of power for the past 3 months.
People from each state have voiced out their frustration on social media over shortage of power supply since the beginning of the new year 2026.
According to a video posted online some hours ago, A NEPA officer was spotted on duty as he was trying to disconnect a light. He was filmed while on the pole before he was pushed off the ladder by a resident who was visibly angry for trying to disconnect their light.
The event took a new turn after a few residents kept issuing a warning to the NEPA officer telling him to get down, but he refused while going ahead to disconnect the light.
In the video, A group of guys charged him while on the ladder as they pushed him off, causing a heavy landing on the ground.
Those area boys can be heard lamenting over the state of the nation, lack of power supply, and hunger ravaging the country, while noting that NEPA still has the guts to disconnect their light when they never supplied them enough electricity.
