Big Brother Naija Season 10 housemate, Kayikunmi, has disclosed in a recent live session with his fans that he regrets being in a ship with his colleague, Isabella Georgewill.
According to An interview,Nigerian reality TV star Kayikunmi has opened up about his regrets over his short-lived romantic entanglement with fellow contestant Isabella.
Kayikunmi regrets his relationship with Isabella
Speaking during a candid conversation with fans on a live session, Kayikunmi admitted that he made a mistake by entering into what he described as a “ship” with Isabella, revealing that the relationship was neither genuine nor beneficial to his journey on the show.
“I regret getting into a ship with Isabella,” Kayikunmi said bluntly, when asked about his time on the reality series. He went on to explain that the relationship was clouded by external pressures from viewers and housemates who pushed them into coupling up for entertainment rather than compatibility.
According to him, the decision distracted him from his personal goals in the competition and also exposed him to unnecessary emotional turmoil. “I should have stayed focused on myself, my growth, and my strategy. Instead, I allowed myself to be carried away by emotions and expectations. That was my biggest mistake,” he confessed.
Kayikunmi also expressed disappointment in how things turned out between them, noting that Isabella was not as committed to the relationship as he initially believed. He hinted at trust issues, miscommunication, and constant clashes that eventually led to the collapse of their ship.
Sometimes you think you know someone, but being in that environment exposes everything. We were not on the same page at all. It became toxic, and I can only blame myself for staying longer than I should have,” he said.
Fans who tuned into the live session shared mixed reactions. While some sympathized with him and praised his honesty, others accused him of trying to shift blame and capitalize on the breakup for publicity.
Kayikunmi, however, insisted that he was not out to tarnish Isabella’s image, but rather to own up to his mistakes and move forward. “I have learned my lessons. Not every relationship is meant to be, and sometimes it’s better to walk away than to force something that isn’t working,” he concluded.
