Popular senegalese-American Singer, Akon in a recent interview has weighed in on the ongoing battle of Old cat and New Cat involving Nigerian Afrobeats artiste, Davido and Burna Boy.
He made it known in one of his recent interview as he claims Davido is a bigger artiste than Burna Boy.
You would recall that the “Unavailable crooner” in his recent interview made a bold statement as he claim that Burna Boy is a new cat in the industry.
He boldly stated that Burna Boy and the likes of Asake, Rema, Fireboy belongs to the new cat category.
Adding that himself and Wizkid paved the way for the global recognition of Afrobeats.
Akon in a new video was asked to choose the better artiste between Davido and Burnaboy, He responded by choosing Davido over Burna boy.
According to him, He said; Davido is a musical beast that is far better than Burnaboy adding that the “Unavailable” crooner deserves more flowers than he has received.
