Asake and Fireboy DML creates magic on stage
Last night, saw the two hottest Nigerian artistes right now, performed at Flytime Fest 2022 that took place at the Eko Convention Center courtesy of First Bank of Nigeria and it was absolutely nothing but an amazing one filled with cool atmosphere.
The sensational singer who has been on his debut album ‘Mr Money with the vibes’ tour once again dishes out classic performance with his hit songs and by extension took his performance to the next level.
How Asake Got signed to YBNL
Recall that, In an interview with Cool FM, Asake opened up on having been texting Olamide since 2020 but didn’t receive any response from him.
He avowed that he would always slide into Olamide’s DM asking for help.
While reminding him about how he helped his friends like Fireboy and so on.
Fortunately for him, Asake disclosed that Olamide finally responded when he dropped his hit song ‘Omo Ope’.
He stated that Olamide just gave him a call and demanded that they meet and when he arrived, Baddo simply asked if he would like to join the family.
Asake said, “I have been texting Olamide since 2020. Baba please help me, because you help a lot of my friends.
“Fire boy was with him, he helped Chinko ekun too, I dey always use am against am, say Baba please help me too, you’ve helped a lot of my friends.
“So, the funniest thing is, he didn’t reply me at all, after we dropped the song Omo ope. Yhemo Lee sent the song to him, then after we dropped the song, he just text me one morning, Asake we have to see, in my mind, I started looking for an outfit, se Olamide will like this, I went to him and he just said it like nothing, will you like to join the family.”
Since he came to prominence, Asake has been considered among the list of biggest artistes in Nigeria and his recent show at FlyTime Fest Day 2 can’t be left without talking about it.
Asake and Fireboy DML Performance at Flytime Fest 2022
In a video serving rounds online, Asake thrilled fans at the sold out concert to a wonderful music night as he took his stage performance to a higher stand while performing songs off his album “Mr Money With the Vibe”.
However, one of highlight of the moment from Asake’s concert was when his colleague, Fireboy DML joined him on stage and they both performed hit song “Bandana”.
