Nigerian reality TV star Uriel Anita Ngozi Oputa, popularly known as Uriel BBNaija, recently shared the emotional challenges of caring for her mother, who suffers from dementia.

In a heartfelt post, Uriel expressed the difficulties of balancing her responsibilities, describing a day where she spent all her time feeding her mother, leaving her unable to focus on anything else. Though she admitted feeling “unproductive,” Uriel highlighted the resilience she’s built through this experience.

Uriel also revealed her journey of forgiveness, sharing that she had to forgive her mother for not taking medication that might have prevented her dementia. She opened up about how this struggle has fueled her passion for advocating preventive health measures, aiming to raise awareness so others might avoid going through similar hardships.

Since her time on Big Brother Naija season 2 in 2017, Uriel has become known for her artistry, entrepreneurial ventures, and social media presence, using her platform to shed light on personal and family struggles, encouraging her followers to prioritize health and preventive care.
