Renowned Personality, Dr. Olatunde Ebenezer Fagbamigbe, FNIS, MNI, is currently contesting for the position of the Deputy President of Nigerian Institution of Surveyors (NIS). The Election for the great institution whose views are generally to represent the Surveying profession in the Federal Republic of Nigeria will be held this month, June.

Dr. Olatunde Fagbamigbe is contesting for the position of the Deputy President of the Nigerian Institution of Surveyors, alongside other candidates of the great institution.

Talking about Brilliance, intelligence, capacity, and wisdom for the post of the Deputy President of (NIS), Dr. Olatunde Fagbamigbe embodied it all. With the support of his superiors at the great institutions, he has been nominated for the position.

He hails from Ekiti State, Aramoko-Ekiti town. He studied at the University of Lagos, holding a PhD Degree.

Dr Olatunde Ebenezer Fagbamigbe is a fellow of the Nigerian Institution of Surveyors (FNIS) and also a member of the National Institute (MNi)

He has held the position of the Deputy Surveyor General at the Ministry of Land, Housing and Survey Oyo State Secretariat Ibadan, and also the Former Vice president National Institution of Surveyors (NIS).

“Dear Esteemed Surveyors of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. I am Surv. Dr. Olatunde Ebenezer FAGBAMIGBE, fnis, mni.

“A proud member of this noble profession and a lifelong servant of our great institution, the Nigerian Institution of Surveyors (NIS)

“Over the decades, I have diligently served our institution at various levels- both state and National levels- under the leadership of our visionary predecessors.

“My commitment to the growth and success of NIS and her members has remained unwavering.

“By next month, June 2025, our institution will once again transition into a new phase of leadership. As the position of DEPUTY PRESIDENT becomes vacant , I come before you today , with a deep sense of duty and humility, to formally declare my intention to contest for this exalted position.

“My Journey in leadership began in 1985 as a student leader of the Survey Students’ Association at the University of Lagos. Since then, I have served in numerous capacities, culminating in my tenure as Vice President of the institution from 2016.

“Throughout this journey , I have worked collaboratively with resourceful colleagues, birthing innovations that have positively reshaped our institution – from AGM organization to improved membership enrollment processes and so on.

“My Academic training in Policy and Strategic studies, coupled with extensive experience in both the public and private sectors, has equipped me with the tools needed to navigate complex leadership, policy, and governance natters across Nigeria.

“My Nationwide engagement, institutional insights, and policy expertise have prepared me for a time such as this – to serve at an even higher capacity”.
