Singer Wizkid loses his mother

Grammy award winning singer, Ibrahim Ayodeji Balogun better known as Wizkid has lost his mother to the cold hands of de@th.

The news of Wizkid’s mother death, has taken the world wide of entertainment and music industry by surprise as many expressed shock over it.

Reports from a close associate of the Grammy award-winning singer, songwriter, and performer Ayodeji Balogun, who is popularly known as Wizkid, have confirmed that the singer lost his mother in the early hours of today, Friday, August 18, 2023.

Mrs. Balogun, was one of wizkid biggest fan and has been supporting her son flourishing career. Most of the time, she always support him on from the sidelines at concerts and events.

Although, Wizkid has not yet public statement regarding the loss.

Her presence at Wizkid’s performances was not just that of a mother, but also a symbol of unwavering support for her son’s musical journey.

Wizkid some years back released a hit song titled ‘Joy’ as he stated how supportive his mother was all through the lines of the song and one would say that his mother was one of pillar who had his back on his musical journey.

Wizkid still has a father whose name is Alhaji Muniru Olatunji Balogun.
