Queen Naomi Silekunola, The estranged wife of the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, has been reportedly rushed to the hospital following her arrest.
Recall days ago, there was a tragic incident that claimed about 37 lives in Ibadan due to stampede following a charity work from Olori Naomi.
The Mother of Prince, Tadenikawo, in collaboration with Agidigbo 88.7fm Chairman, Oriyomi Hamzat, had an event organized in the city of Ibadan. The event was aimed to feed the less privileged unfortunately, it led to death of over 37 children which was caused by stampede.
The Governor while sympathizing with the families of the victims, noted that the efforts had been made to stop further deaths and support victims.
In a recent report, Queen Naomi due to her police arrest, had reportedly collapsed as she immediately taken to the hospital.
In an unconfirmed report, she is currently in hospital and responding well to treatment given to her by the medical care.
The Ooni of ife has extended his heartfelt condolences the bereaved families. He showed solidarity with Naomi. He spoke highly of her character and how she was fond of organizing similar event when she was royalty.
