The Official format and measures that will be used for the crowning of the next Miss World winner at the 2025 festival in Hyderabad, India, has been announced some hours ago.
The ongoing 72nd Miss World Festival in Hyderabad, India, began on May 7th with over 140 participants from various countries and territories in attendance for the event. This year’s edition of the competition will come to an end on May 31st, where the winner will be crowned at the Hitex Exhibition Centre in Hyderabad, Telangana in India.
This year competition came with a lot of events as the participants from various countries battles for a spot in the Top 40 list, showing that they have all it takes to be the next Miss World Winner.
From the Head 2 Head challenge to the Talent challenge, Top Model challenge, Beauty with a purpose (BWAP) Gala event, All the participants really did a great job and the well-deserved winner were announced by the judges of the Miss World Festival.
The Finalists of the Head 2 Head Challenge are:
Europe: Spain, Wales, France, Germany,& Finland
Asia & Oceania: Sri Lanka, Thailand, Turkiye, Lebanon, Japan.
Americas & Carribean: Brazil, Suriname, Cayman islands, Guyana, Trinidad & Tobago
Africa: South Africa, Namibia, Somalia, Uganda, Zambia.

Official format, Running oder & the crowning of Miss World 2025 Festival.
On May 31, the Final Broadcast Event of the 72nd Miss World Festival will take place at the HITEX Convention Center @hitexexhibitioncentre in Hyderabad, Telangana. From the 108 participants, 10 contestants from each continental region will advance to the Quarter-Finals. This includes the Fast-Track winners, who will qualify regardless of the region they belong to.
The Top 40 contestants from each continents will advance to the quarter-finals, and the break down goes thus; 10 contestants from Africa, Europe, Asia and Americas/ Carribean.
Quarter-Finals Breakdown
● 10 contestants from each continental region.
● Africa
●Asia & Oceania
●Europe
● Americas & Carribean.
Semi-Finals Breakdown;
The Top 5 contestants from each continent will advance to the Semi-finals and Judges will narrow it down to Top 2 where only one winner will be announced with other runners up.
Top 5 and Top 2 Selection:
From each continental region, the judges will select a Top 5, which will then be narrowed down to a Top 2. This means every continental region will have one winner and one runner-up and other finalists.

Miss world finalists:
At this stage, the Top 2 from each region will compete, and the judges will reveal the continental winners, who will also be the Overall Top 4 Finalists of the competition, as well as the continental 1st runner-ups.
The Final announcement will be made on May 31st where the winner will be crowned on the stage with the voting agreements from the judges of the event.

The 1st Runner-up in the winner’s continent will be promoted to the continental winner.
