Emeka Rollas, The President of The Actors Guild Of Nigeria has revealed that his association cannot raise money to rescue the [email protected] Nollywood actors because it’s not their duty.
He revealed this in an exclusive interview with the Punch Newspaper.
Remember that a Nollywood actor and an actress have been kidnapped two days ago.
On their way back home after shooting a movie outside the Enugu Metropolis.
The [email protected] contacted the families of the victims and they are demanding 100,000 US Dollars before they release them.
The incident generated f£ar among the actors because the insecurity affecting the country is thr£at£ning their industry.

During an interview with Punch,
He stated that the association has contacted the concerned authorities to secure the release of its kidnapped members.
However, he mentioned that it is not the duty of the association to raise money for the release of the victims.
Emeka added that the security situation of the country is affecting everyone, therefore.
The family of the victims should be responsible for the payment of the ransom.
