Nigerian Popular Singer and a part of P-square group, Peter Okoye has expressed his own view regarding the divorce scandal of Moroccan footballer, Achraf Hakimi.
Recall that, Achraf hakimi’s wife, Hiba Abouk filed for divorce after her husband allegedly cheated on her while she and their children were on vacation in Dubai and she is actually demanding for half of his wealth.
Surprisingly, her lawyers informed her that Hakimi doesn’t have any assets in his name as all his properties were issued with his mother name, Fathima.
Reacting to the viral news on social media, Peter Okoye stated that he does not understand why men are celebrating this story.
He stated that people should not marry women they do not trust, unless they expect their wife to suffer after the divorce.
According to him, he wrote;
“#MyOwnViewsAndOpinion I don’t understand why most men are rejoicing over this Hakimi story? Like I don’t get it.
The truth is bitter but needs to be told. If you don’t trust her then don’t marry as simple as that. Or are you expecting your wife to surfer after divorce?”
