Nigerian Popular Singer, Davido Adeleke popularly known as Davido has revealed that he and Portuguese Striker, Cristiano Ronaldo are good friends.
The “Unavailable” crooner made this known in his recent interview with Abtalks, where he talked about celebrities not being appreciated enough for all their efforts and contribution.
Davido recalled how fans hurled many insults on the Al-Nassir star after Portugal crashed out of the 2022 world cup in Qatar after shocking defeat by Morocco in the Quarter-finals.
Morocco who recorded their first ever historic win moved pass Portugal after beating them 1-O in the Quarter-final and also became the first African country to reach the semi final in the competition.
The Singer wondered why people were mocking Ronaldo despite everything he had done for the team.
In his words, he said;
“Look at Ronaldo, when he left the World Cup, he’s my friend by the way, he’s my very good friend”
“When he left the World Cup I remember being on the internet and I’m like ‘they were abusing him so much after everything he has done’.”
