The Biography of African Representatives at the ongoing 72nd Miss World 2025 contest in Hyderabad, India has been compiled together some hours ago.
The 72nd Edition of the Miss World 2025 pageant took place in India, featuring 140 participants from various countries and territories. This year’s edition of the competition has begun from May 7, and the winner will be crowned on May 31st at the Hitex Exhibition centre in Hyderabad, Telangana in India.
In the 72nd Miss World 2025 Festival, there were 25 contestants from the Africa Group. This group participated in a Medical Tourism event alongside doctors, nurses, and psychologists (or students in such fields) from various other countries.
According to reports, there’s no accurate numbers of participants from Europe and Asia, but based on the format used during the previous edition, Only 10 contestants from each continents will advance to the quarter-finals of the completion.
Following the beauty competition so far, Nigeria, Botswana, South Africa, Zambia and other African countries have been doing excellently well.

Joy Mojisola Raimi is the reigning Miss World Nigeria 2025 and will be representing Nigeria at the 72nd Miss World pageant in India. She is a 24-year-old graduate of the University of Port Harcourt, known for her passion for humanitarian causes and her initiative “The Love for Humanity,” which focuses on spreading love and restoring faith in humanity.
Early Life and Achievements:
Joy was born in Rivers State, Nigeria, on June 29, 2000. She hails from Boripe Local Government Area in Osun State, where she represented in the Miss World Nigeria pageant. She was crowned Miss World Nigeria 2025 at the Federal Palace Hotel in Victoria Island, Lagos, after competing against 37 other contestants.

Anicia Tebogo Gaothusi, hails from the village of Tutume in Botswana’s Central District. She is pursuing her studies at the Gaborone University College of Law and Professional Studies, focusing on procurement and supply chain management.
She is 22 years of age and was crowned the Miss Botswana in 2024 at Royal Aria in Tlokweng on Saturday, was gifted a brand new Volkswagen Polo.

Miss Zoalize Van will be representing South Africa at the 72nd Edition of the Miss World Pageant in India.
Zoalize is studying Law with the view of working in International and Children’s Law especially supporting those in foster care. She has worked in the Motorsports Industry where she ‘developed a deep fascination for cars.
She is digital and marketing executive at Scuderia Ferrari South Africa, she believes that every person can contribute to the greater good of the world and age, in that context , is nothing but a number.
Having tagged her beauty with a purpose project “Never Too Young tto Advocate” the beauty queen is intentional about creating global visibility as well as audibility for the youth.

Miss Zoalize Van foundation focuses on three essential pillars: educate, graduate, and advocate. In her words, “I hope to use the power of social media to enrich our community with mental fortitude as well as self-encouragement. This is the Key foundation needed to integrate our youth into positions of acknowledgement.

Faith Bwalya is a 24-year-old Zambian model, medical professional, and humanitarian advocate from Kitwe. She was crowned Miss World Zambia 2025 on April 20, 2025, in Lusaka, earning the opportunity to represent Zambia at the 74th Miss World pageant in India.
Passion for Humanitarian
She is the founder of The Voice of Faith Foundation, which focuses on improving the lives of marginalized children, youth, and people with disabilities through education and advocacy.
She dreams of becoming a Paediatric Doctor, a Motivational Speaker, and a Farmer, according to the Miss World website.
