The 68th GRAMMYs took place at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles on Sunday, Feb. 1, and the respective awards were given to the winners of each category.
This year, the Grammy Awards process has undergone several updates, including the addition of two new categories: Best Traditional Country Album and Best Album Cover. The expansive and exciting changes reflect both Academy member-submitted proposals and the Recording Academy’s ongoing commitment to evolving with the ever-changing musical landscape.
The Best African Music performance category saw six artists from Africa nominated in that category, and their names include Davido Ft Omahlay, Tyla, Ayra Starr Ft Wizkid, Burna Boy, and Eddy Kenzo & Mehran Matin.

Tyla won the Grammy Award over Davido, Burna Boy, Ayra Starr, and Eddy Kenzo.
South African Tyla has been announced as the winner of the Grammy Award for Best African Music Performance, making it her 2nd Grammy in two consecutive years.
Push 2 Start by Tyla, that raked in over 444 million streams on Spotify, hijacked the Grammy Awards from Davido, Burna Boy, Ayra Starr, and Eddy Kenzo.
